Noida: The body of a 24-year-old trainee engineer was found in the Bathroom hostel Hostel Power Power National (NTPC) in Greater Noida, police said on Friday.
According to officials, it seems to be a suicide case because there are no signs seen in the body, but the cause of death has not been confirmed.
“The incident took place on Thursday night at NTPC Hostel below the boundary of the Jarcha police station,” said a police spokesman.
“The deceased has been identified as an original population of Odisha.
He is a trainee engineer and found positive for Covid-19 during a medical test,” said the spokesman.
Relatives from the deceased have been informed and the body sent for post-mortem, police said, adding further legal proceedings is being carried out.
