Varanasi: With the increase in the level of recovery in the case of Covid-19, the intensity of Covid infection has been reduced in the Varanasi district.
While the new case of Koronavirus infection continued the surface in this district, the number of patients recovered increased.
On Friday, out of 5,412 the lab test report received in the district, 287 people were confirmed as positive for Covid-19 in the Varanasi district in 24 hours.
Meanwhile, in Covid’s death, a 65-year-old patient in the orderly bazaar area died at Hindu Banaras University Hospital on Friday.
According to a daily medical bulletin, patients suffer from diabetes, hypertension and liver disease along with Corona virus infection.
However, 531 patients including two at hospital facilities and 529 in house isolation was declared cured.
One patient was hospitalized on Friday, while the number of patients who were in hospital treatment in the district were 22.
At present, Varanasi has 2,417 active cases of Covid-19.in Chandauli, 20 people who were positively tested for Covid-19 , While 155 patients were declared cured on Friday.
At present, there are 203 active cases of Koronavirus infection in Chandauli, where 1,726 samples are collected for Covid-19 testing.
Jaunpur District reported 44 new cases of Koronavirus infection while 69 patients were declared recovered including one in hospital facilities and 68 in house isolation on Friday.
At present, Jaunpur has 449 active cases of Covid-19.Earlier, in the Ballia District 28 people were tested positive for Covid-19 while 39 patients were declared recovered on Thursday.
The district currently has 270 cases of active Koronavirus infection.
