Lucknow: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will handle his first virtual political rally as PM on January 31, especially for district voting in the first phase at Uttar Pradesh.
The Indian Election Commission has banned physical demonstrations and road shows until January 31 for surging Covid-19 cases.
PM can overcome a similar virtual demonstration further if ECI expands a ban on physical demonstrations and road performances, sources at BJP say.
The source told Ti that the rally on January 31 would be planned in such a way that it would cover at least four to five districts in the western region once.
In accordance with the initial plan, this rally will include districts such as Saharapur, Baghpat, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar and Gautam Buddh Nagar.
Party plans to target around 21 assembly constituencies through this rally.
Even though the draft proposal to hold it is being prepared, the source said that every BJP Mandal will have one LED screen on display for virtual pm rally in these districts.
The target is carrying around 500 people – the maximum number permitted by EC for meetings – to one LED screen.
In this way through the LED screen, the party plans to reach around 50,000 people in one virtual rally, the source said.
In addition to the LED screen, the Virtual PM Modi address will be channeled directly on all social media platforms, the source said and added that BJP Think Tanks want to take advantage of PM’s popularity between the masses and mobilize people who support BJP through this virtual demonstration.
Such a virtual rally can be further regulated too, but it will depend on the EC decision about the prohibition of physical demonstrations, the source said.
Until now, BJP leaders, including the Head of the Head of Union Amit Shah, Head of National BJP JP Nadda, Chair of the Yogi Adityanath Minister, Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya, Head of BJP Swatantra Deo Singh and others have held a door campaign to the door to the west .
The home of the house Union Amit Shah will be in the district of Muzaffarang and Saharanpur on Saturday to hold a door contact program to the door.
He will hold a door-to-door program in Deoband, where the Yogi government recently announced to establish an anti-terror squad (ATS) unit.
