SRINAGAR: Terrorists were shot dead by police chief J & K on Saturday near his home in the district of Anantnag Kashmir Selatan, while security forces involved terrorists “two-three” in a shootout in the Pulwama district.
Officers said Kulgam Police Station Head Constable Ali Mohammad Ganie was injured sadly in the shooting near her house in Hasanpora Tabbehara.
He was taken to a government hospital at Anantnag Town, but could not be saved.
It is scoot-and-scoot, general tactics used by terrorists.
The police said that the shootout in Naira Village in Pulwama could continue for some time, with a joint police team, the army and CRPF personnel interesting terrorists hiding there.
This area has been corrected to minimize collateral damage and to prevent terrorists that run away.
In Ganderbal District, the Central Kashmir, the police arrested three members of the Front Resistance (TRF), clothing supported by Laskhar-e-Taiba.
They were arrested at the checkpoint guarded by personnel from the police, 24 Rashtriya Rifles and CRPF 115bn.
The three were identified as Faisal Manzoor from Braripora and Azhar Yaqoob from Zaipora, both in the Shopian District, and Nasir Ahmad Dar from the Begam in Kulgam.
Two Chinese pistols, three magazines, 15 rounds of ammunition and two hand grenades were found on them.
Their cellphone was also confiscated.
According to the police, the three men said as long as they questioned that they were related to the prohibited TRF.
A pine was registered at the Ganderbal Police Station.
