Ranchi: Covid-19 cases are on a downhill trend in the state since January 15.
From a little below 1,000 mark on December 27, 2021, the active case passed 10,000 marks on January 5, 2022 when the state had 10,990 active cases.
It touched the top of 33,189 active cases on January 14 and then began to flatten.
The number of active cases in the state is 33,089 on January 15 and since then recovery has exceeded the number of new infections that constantly lower the curve.
On Friday, the number of active cases fell to 10,383 which was comparable to the sign of January 5.
The trend was proven in Ranchi on Saturday which registered nearly 1000% more than a new infection.
Like opposing 192 new cases reported in this district, the number of recovery was established at 1.910 so that reducing the number of active cases in the district to 2,403.
There were no victims reported on Saturday.
Friday night, the country reported 2,599 recovery and six victims of 912 cases of new infections increasingly dropped the number of active cases in the state to 10,383.
It was for the second time in January that new cases in the state were three digits.
Of the six deaths, two were reported from Ranchi and Gumla, while Dhanbad and the coderma reported one of their respective deaths.
Like 52,347 samples were tested in the state, where 912 returned positively showed the level of 1.74%.
Cumulative cases in the country reached 4,26,141 of them 4.10.461 had recovered and 5,297 had given up on viruses which showed a recovery rate of 96.32% and the mortality rate of 1.24%.
