Odisha migrant workers are the 40th heart donor

Letter: A 33-year-old migrant worker from Odisha became the 40th heart donor from the city of Diamond.

The lungs must be transplanted in patients in Mumbai but surgery cannot be done.
As well as the wishes of the Sahu family, his body was sent to Odisha by air by donating life with the support of the Commissioner of the City of Banchhanidhi Pani.
Asli Aldi Village from Ganjam in Odisha, Sahu was employed in the weaving unit in Sayan near the city.
He fainted while working on January 26 when his blood pressure surged.
He was hospitalized at Sayan.
Because his condition did not improve, he shifted to the hospital in the city.
Medical examination revealed that he suffered brain bleeding and blood clots had developed in his brain.
He was declared dead brain by a doctor.
Because it was alerted, representatives of the life of the donation approached the relatives of the Sahu and convinced them to organ donations.
“They agreed to donate organs and we can harvest it.
This is the 40th heart donation of the city,” said Nilesh Mandlewala, President Donate Life.
Sahu survived his wife Pinky (28) and Son Abhay (1).
“We arrange to send a sahu body to their origin so that his family can do the last rite,” said a Donate Life official.
So far, a total of 996 organs have been donated through life donations from the city and South Gujarat.
A total of 40 hearts, 418 kidneys, 178 hearts, eight pancreas, 26 lungs, four hands and 322 cornea has been donated.
A total of 909 people got new rent through these organs.
