Kolhapur: A total of eight electric bikes were burdened in a fire in the apartment parking lot at the location of the city of Nagala Park on Monday afternoon.
Pradip Jadhav, one of the residents of the apartment, has started a business selling electric bicycles.
He had ordered a bicycle for sale in Kolhapur.
Ranjit Chile, Head of the Kolhapur Municipal Corporation firefight, said it was possible that the battery was one of the bikes exploded and the fire spread to another vehicle, which was then really burned.
However, he said the true cause of fire needs to be investigated.
