WASHINGTON: Pentagon is expected to announce on Wednesday that US forces will mobilize in the coming days after President Joe Biden officially approved the spread of the US military additional to Eastern Europe, a US official told Reuters.
Biden has directed more than 3,000 US troops to deploy to improve European allies, the Wall Street Journal reported.
About 2,000 American soldiers will mobilize from the United States to Poland and Germany and around 1,000 will reposition from Germany to Romania, the journal said.
This week this week suggested that the troop movement could come from Europe.
