New Delhi: Head of the Army General MM Naravane, studied the challenges of national security, on Thursday that India witnessed the trailer of future conflict and its enemies would continue with efforts to achieve their strategic goals.

Naravane, without giving Chinese and Pakistani names, said that the disputed borders with nuclear neighbors plus a proxy war sponsored by the country stretching security forces and resources.
“We witnessed future conflict trailers.
It is applied every day on the Information battlefield, on the network and cyberspace.
They are also played with a border that is not calm and active,” he said.
“This is for us now to visualize the battlefield contour tomorrow based on this trailer.
If you look around, you will realize the reality today,” he said.
The Chairman of the Army said the development of North Borders has adequately underlined the requirements of the troops that are ready and capable of optimal boots components on the ground supported by modern technology to preserve the sovereignty and integrity of the country.

some kind of conflict using gray zone activities in the domain of politics, military and economy, and do it collusively,” he said.
“The 2020 events have become a testimony with the diversity of security threats in all domains and this has brought the spotlight to non-contact and gray zone warfare.
We need to add abilities in non-contact mode and contact war,” he said referring to a face-off East Ladakh.
He also said that several countries challenged globally accepted norms and sequences based on rules.
This, General Naravane said, had manifested in various forms that included the actions of aggression and opportunistic to change the “status quo” to keep the threshold under the all-out war.
The head of the army said the development in Afghanistan has returned to focus the use of non-state proxies and actors for decisive effects.
“These actors develop with local conditions, innovatively exploit low-cost options for devastating impacts and create conditions that limit the full use of advanced abilities available to state,” he said.
General Naravane said the army focused on restructuring, re-balancing and the reorientation of his troops and the process had begun.
