82 Nomination papers are rejected after supervision

Ludhiana: Documents submitted by various candidates for 14 assembly constituents were examined on Wednesday.
After supervision, the 198 candidate document was found valid.
The candidates have until February 4 to attract their names and after that candidate calculation will be released.
On Tuesday, a total of 280 nominations had been received, where 82 had been rejected.
A total of 25 nominations from Sahnewal, 12 of Khanna, 14 of Samrala, 15 of Ludhiana East, 17 of South Ludhiana, 15 of Nagar, 9 of Ludhiana Central, 11 of Ludhiana West, 12 of Ludhiana North, 15 of Gill, 20 of Payal, 12 of Dakha, 11 of Raikot and 10 of Jagraon were found valid.
Regional Election Officer – Varinder Commissioner Cum-Deputy Kumar Sharma said, “The documents delivered by candidates were examined on Wednesdays and documents found valid.
