Pune: At least nine city companies in the state, where elections will mature in March, may not get a newly chosen body before the deadline and will eventually be arranged by the administrator.
Factors such as Covid pandemic, delays in declaring environmental restrictions and legal tangles related to other reserves of backup (OBC) have placed speed breakers in holding elections according to regular schedules.
Leading city companies such as those in Pune, Brihanmumbai, Chinchwad Pimpri, Nagpur and Nashik will be arranged by the administrator until the civilian poll is held.
If the poll is not carried out before the deadline, more than half of the corilater of 27munch in the state will be without selected representatives in March.
These companies will join five Civic Agency -Kalyan-Dimbivali, Vasai-Virar, Kolhapur, Aurangabad and Navi Mumbai – who already have an administrator.
The mastery of selected members in this local government body gets more than 2020.
“If we consider schedules and, around 35 days are needed between the election declaration and voting day.
Considering the current situation, it seems difficult to have a newly elected body in the second week of March,” said Sunil Parkhi, a civil law expert and former Secretary of the City Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC).
After the existing body is dissolved, a meeting of the general body, permanent committee, the welfare committee of women and children, the Law Committee and the City Improvement Committee will not be held.
The administrator is expected to be at the leadership of at least one or two months; Consider that the selection will be held in April or May.
“Even if the administrator is appointed, the selected members will continue to cause people’s problems,” said Ganesh Bidkar, a home leader at PMC.
“Appointment of the administrator will be distributed with the Mayor of Petahana in the first week of March and the city commissioner will take over as the Coporation Administrator Municipal Nashik (NMC) from March 15 if the code of ethics was not stated at that time,” said Raju Kute, Secretary of the City of NMC.
Malegaon Municipal Corporation ended on June 13 this year and did not need to appoint a administrator, because polls tended to occur before the term ended.
The election for Dhule and Ahmednagar Municipal Corporations was due in December 2023 and Jalgaon on September 2023.
In Solapur, 113 Canporator, up from 102, will be chosen due to increased population.
In the case of Solapur, Mayor of Shrikachana Yannam Iseyeing to lead a special meeting to be called for budget presentations.
Because the budget will be the last for the current body, the ruling BJP Corator tends to ensure that they get more funds for their respective wards.
(With input by Tushar Pawar in Nashik & Abhijit Patil in Kolhapur) BJP to improve the objection to the Draft PMC Delimitation of the PlanBJP leader in PMC on Thursday, they will submit an objection to the design of the Civic restriction plan.
Ganesh Bidkar, a house leader at Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), claimed that the ward was suddenly carved without following natural boundaries, road layout and air distance.
“All of this leads to the division of regions and housing communities in two wards.
BJP will explore Al Waysto’s feet raising objections,” he said.
The representation of people in PMC after civilian elections will be with 173 Corporators – nine more than those chosen in the current Civic body – under the new three-ward system, the planned plan of restriction was announced on Tuesday.
The next Civic Agency will have a total of 58 wards, 17 more than 41 of 2017.
Bidkar claims that MVA partners are responsible for sudden distribution of nature.
“The MVA efforts will be in vain.
It will not be able to defeat BJP in the upcoming Civic poll.
BJP will win more than 100 seats,” he said.
Bidkar said, “MVA partners are very aware that they cannot win seats unless the ward is forged.
The preliminary survey has pointed out that some areas are divided into two neighboring wards.
Even the villages who have just joined are listed under the adjacent ward, instead of being Single ward.
We will submit an objection to search for an explanation why the guidelines have not been followed.
