PANAJI: A clear majority for Congress-Goa Forward Alliance will end the current default trend in the state, said the President of the Forward Goa Party (GFP) Vijai Sardesai on Saturday.
Sardesai released his manifesto for the Fatorda constituency and said that alliance partners will pursue the “development with approval” model.
Sardesai said that many other political party workers, including BJP, supported GFP and worked against BJP.
“Cave images have beaten because of their politics, replays from the trend of ‘RAMA RAM, RAM style.
I assure Goans that a clear majority for us will end the defection,” said Sardesai.
Sardesai said that the synergy between Congress and GFP was proven to be a political meeting held by Congress Parliament Rahul Gandhi in Sanquelim.
“When Rahul Gandhi spoke, he covered the development with the approval model, something we had implemented in Fatorda for the past 10 years,” said Sardesai after that he released his party’s manifesto for Fatorda.
Fatorda MLA said that while many supporters of other political parties were ready to join the GFP, he had decided not to slap other party members because it would damage the reputation until now.
He also said that Thane BJP MLA Sanjay Kelar was in Goa to lure people from other political parties.
He pointed out that nearly 50% of BJP candidates were susceptible to temporary defection of 75% of the Congress-GFP candidates were fresh faces.
Sardesai said that the manifesto was “paper answer” for people’s advice and questions.
“Fatordekars will decide on the type and form of development they want.
Unlike BJP development models, where the number of commissions decides on development priorities.
The desires of the Bulldozed people, something I have not let in Fatorda,” said Sardesai.
