Jaisalmer: The biggest war exercise of the Indian Air Force Vayushakti-2022 will be held at Pokhran Field Field Range on March 5.
About 140 aircraft including 100 fighter planes will take part in the drill.
Previously, this exercise was scheduled to be held on February 10.
President of Ramnath Kovind, PM Narendra Modi, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, the head of the army and other officials is expected to witness the great demonstration of the IAF capabilities.
For this purpose, the Air Force Station meeting, Jaisalmer Station Commander Group Captain Amardeep Singh Pannu and Collector Regency was held at the Air Force station on Friday.

Moreover, Sukhoi-30, MKI, Mig29, LCA Tejas, Mirage 2000, MIG-21 Bison, Hawk and Jaguar will be part of the exercise.
Apache helicopters, Chinook and Dhruv will participate in night operation and will reach the target.
This war training was held once in three years.
Many types of operations will take place in this exercise including defensive air counters, air counter offensive, counter air strikes, suppress enemy air defenses and target opportunities.
Women’s pilots also participated in this exercise.
They will fly the Bison MIG-21 fighter.
Until now, 10 female fighter pilots have confirmed participation and three are expected to join the practice.
