Hyderabad: Peddling marijuana racquet Inter-state is damaged and two people carrying contraband goods from Andhra Pradesh to Kerala Via Telangana arrested in Choutupal.
Police Rachakonda seized 100 kilos of marijuana and 10 liters of hash oil from their ownership.
Police Rachakonda was arrested on Saturday night Mohammed Ansar, 19, an accountant at a private company based on Mumbai, and Hassainar, 42, a car driver from Mangalore in Karnataka.
According to Deputy Bhongir Police Commissioner (DCP) K Narayana Reddy, the Duo has transported marijuana and hashish oil from the area of the Lambasingi Agency in Visakhapatnam Ap Regency to Faisal in Kunsaagod in Kerala.
Acting on specific information, the police intercepted the car where both of them traveled in Reddybavi Village near Chouppal on Saturday night and confiscated 50 packages of marijuana weighing 100 kilos, 10 liters of oil hash, all worth 46.5 lakh.
Duo acknowledged that four partners – Kabeer, SK Abdullah, both of the Kasilagod, Murthy of Hebbal and Nushad from Mangalore, both from Karnataka, drove the route to remind them of the police.
The fourth, traveling with four-wheeled vehicles in front of the car carrying contraband, warning the arrests accused of Friday’s examination on the route near Vijayawada.
According to their advice, Ansar and Hassainar rest for the night near Vijayawada and start Hyderabad on Saturday, DCP said.
When the cellphone from the four men was still turned off on Saturday, the duo went on to Bengaluru through Hyderabad and they were arrested.
