GZB saw less than 100 cases

Noida: Senior citizens who underwent treatment for Covid and other comorbidities in private facilities in Gautam Budh Nagar surrendered on Monday, officials said.
The district also added 149 new cases in the last 24 hours even when active cases fell to 1,465 from the year 1,632.
In Ghaziabad, 97 new cases were reported on that day.
The district currently has 842 active patients while 10 people are still undergoing treatment at various facilities.
Health officials told TII that after a gap more than a month of cases had fallen below 100 in the last 24 hours.
If people continue to follow the Covid protocol and take vaccines, the number will remain low, they said.
More than 6,500 people were tested for Covid on Monday while the sample peposititivity remained around 1.5% over the past 24 hours, officials added.
The total sample of the sample in January was 9.9%.
In GB Nagar, a total of 10,592 people were vaccinated on Monday.
The district was also vaccinated by more than 3935 people in the age group 15-17 years.
