New Delhi: Everest Canto Cylinders (EKC) High Pressure Cylinder Manufacturer on Tuesday said that it has launched the CSR initiative to offer free online curriculum education in vernacular language to grade 9 and 10 students, at 35 government schools in the Gujarat District Kutch during the Academic Year this.
Initially, this initiative aims to benefit students from class 9 and 10 in all schools located in Block Kutch Gandhidham.
Furthermore, the initiative will be scale to students from the value and other Gujarat region.
More than 7,500 students from 35 government schools are expected to benefit from this initiative, where the company has spent RS 20 lakh in the first year, he said.
This program, which is managed and executed by connected technology aims to provide quality vernacular education content to government school students, in an effort to improve learning outcomes, especially during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, he added.

This platform contains quality education content in local languages, which is synchronized by the Gujarat stateboard curriculum, and can be seen online or downloaded to the device to be seen later.
“We thank the EKC and hope more organizations will advance to support this initiative and ensure it benefits every student in Gujarat,” Kutp District Education Officers said.
The recent surge in Covid-19 case caused school closure.
In such circumstances, government schools and their students need a parallel digital framework, through which quality education can be presented to government school students, he said.
EKC Chair and Managing Director Pushkar Khurana said, “While installing our social response to those affected by a pandemic, we feel the need to support a program that provides quality education to government school students, when the school is closed.
We are happy to see responses from government authorities and grassroots level educator.

During this initiative, connected technology will coordinate with government schools to sensitive and students about the platform, where they can access educational content related to the curriculum for free, using any device and connectivity they have.
At present, connected technology has mobilized these programs in eight states in India.
