Gurgaon: Two people have been arrested by Faridabad police for alleged posting content related to the massacre of cattle on social media.
The two men have been identified as Kamal Tanwar and Yogesh.
According to the police, Tanwar, who from Delhi will post content on the YouTube channel.
The post shared by the duo suggested that the administration not do a little to remove the carcass of the animal located near the Bukit Surjakund.
Some of the content they shared could potentially trigger public anger, police said.
Meanwhile, the police have denied slaughter “Thousands of Cows” as claimed by social media posts and also issued a warning to the spread of rumors.
The police said that the accusation was raised in a post, related to the disposal of animal carcasses by city corporation, has been investigated.
