Ludhiana: Two residents of Ludhiana died and 44 were tested positive for Covid here on Tuesday.
The head of the medical officer said the deceased was a 83-year-old man and a 77 year old woman, a good resident of the Gram model.
The man died at Raghunath Hospital and the woman at the CMC Hospital.
The talin of the district victims has increased to 2,249 and this case is calculated to 1.09.248.
As many as 1,06,135 have recovered so far.
There are 864 active cases.
