Patna: The Chairman of the Minister of Nitish Kumar on Wednesday said that he maintains the law and order is his government’s top priority and he will not tolerate weakness in controlling crime in the state.
While leading a high-level meeting to review the state law and order scenarios and the enforcement of prohibitions, he asked senior police officers to accelerate the speed of investigations to facilitate the necessary actions of the people involved.
CM was also ordered to strengthen the night patrol system in all districts.
He asked police officers to ensure the patrol of the night and legs that were often by officers and junior police.
While discussing problems related to land disputes, Nitish said, “DM and SP must hold a joint meeting once a month to resolve land-related disputes under their jurisdiction.
Likewise, sub-division (SDO) officers and sub-police officers Division (SDO) will hold a similar joint meeting at the subdivision level every two weeks while circle officers (CO) and home stations (Sho) will do it once a week.
“Praise civil administration and police to prevent communal incidents effectively cross the country , Nitish asked them to maintain the same ‘activeness’ to ensure communal harmony in the community.
He asked the Patna District Administration to maintain a special obligation to enforce a ban on liquor in the state capital.
“Identification of people who are spoiled in making mistakes and taking the necessary actions against them,” he said.
Nitish then asked officials to continue using drones, motorboats, dog squads etc.
in raids on liquor smugglers so there were no single liquor smugglers to avoid.

Pathak informs the cm that an average of 1,800 attacks and 350 arrests are made per day to check the trade in the forbidden liquor in the state.
He also said an average of 50 vehicles and 13,000 liters of liquor was confiscated as part of the anti-liquor drive.
Previously, ADG (HQ) Jitendra Singh Gangswar made a detailed presentation before CM on the actions taken by the police to examine the crime.
