Nagpur: A man, identified as Satish Channe, was stabbed by a gang and relatives of a girl for allegedly passing obscene comments on him in Pandhrabodi on Tuesday night, police said Ambazari.
The injured channel was accepted at medical colleges and government hospitals (GMCH) where the conditions were declared critical.
The police have arrested six people, including the girl, because of attacking Channe.
The six people have been sent in police custody until February 12.
According to the police, Channe is a history of Sheeter and is related to criminal gang.
He has been charged with several violations including theft, attacking the police and other people in the past.
He was also booked twice under Mpda, police said.
Channe, which was released from the central prison six months ago, reportedly developed one-sided love for a girl from Pandhrabodi, as in the police who added that she had passed the comments on the girl for the past few days.
The brother and father of the girl persuaded Channe to improve her way, but she allegedly threatened to kill them.
The police said that on Tuesday night, Channe was forcibly entered the girl’s house and began to tease her.
At hearing the girl’s scream, her brother, my father and neighbor arrested Chane and one of them stabbed him with a knife 15 times, police said.
Due told, the team from the Ambazari police station reached the place and rushed the channel to GMC.
