Chennai: Be prepared to polls of urban local bodies after a gloomy party show in a local countryside poll, Kamal Haasan Makkal Maiyam (MNM) has issued a polls manifesto to attract young voters in the company and the city.
Banking about the ‘corruption-free administration’ slogan, Kamal Haasan said the state was in a “dilapidated” and promised to provide “clean and efficient administration with community participation” in urban local agencies with the support of science and technology.
The party will guarantee free and portable drinking water and ensure the right rainwater harvesting system in each household.
It will also need an effort to implement technology (atmospheric water generator) to extract water from the air, according to Manifesto.
Alike Grama Sabha, Area and Ward Sabha will be held regularly to correct complaints of people, he said.
Party candidates, if elected, will submit a monthly action report to people in the ward.
The MNM also promised to end a manual scavment by adopting top-class technology.
It is said that the trash will be installed on every way to recycle waste.
