Religious: The Maheswarpur people in Panchayat’s manicapure under the Khallikote Block from Ganjam Regency has decided to boycott the Pancrayat election to suppress their request to return to their old Panceipur.

Residents of Maheswarpur Village have boycotted previous rustic polls in 2017 and the election of the Assembly and Lok Sabha in 2019 at the same request.
“The manicapure office is more than 3 km from the village.
Too tiring for us to walk long distances to reach Panchayat headquarters,” said Bhramarabara Pradhan, a village resident.
