Daltonganj: Maois extorted money through a member staff member customer service (CSP) because there was little risk of being caught, police said on Saturday.
On Saturday, the police destroyed cash flow through CSP under the Chhaterpur Police Station area in the Palamu district.
Chhaturpur Sdpo Ajay Kumar said they had returned a woman, who was identified as Basanti Devi, in a trustment after arresting her on true day.
“He used to extort money for Maois through one CSP in the Chhaterpur sub-division.
He recently attracted Rs 33,000 from CSP where around Rs 63,000 was reported,” Kumar added.
CSP could not give a woman Rs 63,000 in one payment and she was only given RS 33,000.
Alamu SP Chandan Kumar Sinha said it had extorted money stored in his account.
“The money is credited to the account of the owner of the CSP from the place of Basanti used interesting.
This is a general practice here as migrant workers send money to their families here and their money reaches CSP from where their relatives collect it,” he added.
Explain the Binanti case, Kumar said the woman’s husband – Narayan Yadav – was a Maoist.
The couple came from Nawadag Village under the Chhaterpur police station.
Maadav will threaten the contractor and those involved in stone mining.
They are given a certain CSP account number where they can send money.
“Basanti’s duty is to get money from CSP later,” Kumar said, adding that part of the money was spent in a split second by Basanti and Narayan while some of them were sent to other Maois.
