Now, the company has announced that it launched a search chip feature for all workspace users, including G-Suite Basic and business users.
It was announced in beta in November last year, the search chip on Google Drive promises to make it easier for users to find relevant files faster and eliminate the need to do some search or sort irrelevant results.
Filter Chip Search adds a series of new options at the top of the Google Drive interface, offering options to users to narrow the search by file type, the last modification date, users related to certain files.
Google Drives already have search filters that provide option users to determine search by word, date, time, contact, and more.
However, they are hidden in the search bar and are needed.
The new filter chip is easier available and can be accessed for users and offers wider search filter options.
Recently, online reports that revealed Google planned to stop offering unlimited plans to store your Whatsapp backup.
Instead, companies can introduce limited plans for the same thing.
In particular, they plan to introduce changes to backup, notifications about when Google drives are almost full, when the limits are achieved and information about when the change applies.
