Veteran singer BAPPI Lahiri died on Tuesday night in Mumbai after fighting obstructive sleep apnea.
He was 69 years old and his last breathed at Mumbai’s critic hospital.
BAPPI DA, which is known for its superhit songs, is also popular for its gold jewelry.
Back in 2007, he reacted to Bipasha basu jokes that he wanted to steal his jewelry.
In an interview with Bombay Times, Bipasha called him ‘extraordinary people’.
He said, “And every time I see it, I want to seize his jewelry.
He wore beautiful gold jewelry; it’s full of this little god, and that’s something I really love.”
Reacted the same, Bappi Lahiri, in an interview in 2007, said that he would love to give him his gold.
He replied, “He is very sweet.

“I like it, he’s very handsome and bong,” he has shared.
Previously today, the BAPPI Family Lahiri released an official statement and said that the funeral would take place on Thursday.
The statement was read, “This is a very sad moment for us.
BAPPI DA we beloved have gone for Heavenly Heavenly last night.
Cremation will take place on the arrival of Bappa from La Tomorrow morning, we are looking for love and blessings for his soul.
