NOIDA: Noida Police has detained 61 individuals, including 15 women, for supposedly partying in a farmhouse in breach of constraints imposed to fight Covid-19, officials said on Monday.
The arrests were made after a raid to the land at Sector 135, underneath the Expressway police station limits, on Sunday nightthey said.
“A pool party has been held in the Green Beauty farmhouse from the Yamuna floodplains region in Sector 135 in breach of these Covid-19 protocols.
A total of 46 men and 15 women were detained,” a police spokesperson said.
“These accused were stuck at the pool in breach of their pandemic protocols.
They had been face masks and a few of them were spitting at different areas at the open assumptions of this farmhouse,” the spokesperson said.
The authorities said they’ve regained 12 bottles of beer and 2 bottles of whiskeythat have been intended available in Haryana, by the place.
Many of the arrestees are inhabitants of Delhi, although others are out of Ghaziabad and other cities of the NCR, the authorities said.
An FIR has been lodged under Indian Penal Code sections 188 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by people servant), 269 (unlawfully or negligently spreading infection of any disease dangerous to life), and 270 (cancerous activity likely to spread infection of disease dangerous to life), they stated.
