DEHRADUN: The Uttarakhand authorities on Monday expanded the Covid curfew from the nation before June 22 but declared some critical relaxations like launching the chardham yatra for sailors on the status of an adverse RT-PCR assessment report.

“We have opted to expand the curfew for one more week on June 22 at light of this Covid-19 situation.
The previous SOPs will mostly remain in force but several important changes like opening the doorways of these oriental temples for natives with adverse RT-PCR accounts,” Cabinet minister and say administration’s official spokesman Subodh Uniyal stated.
“Individuals of Chamoli district today have the consent to see Badrinath temple for’darshan’ when they have an adverse RT-PCR evaluation report.
In the same way, individuals of Rudraprayag and Uttarkashi districts also can now see Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri respectively using a negative RT-PCR evaluation record,” the ministry stated.
The famous four subtropical forests in Uttarakhand though available as May for everyday prayers are out of bounds to pilgrims.
