NUH: Twelve Faridabad Police employees are booked following the household of a 24-year-old person alleged he was attacked in police custody resulting in his death, authorities said Tuesday.
Even though the FIR names station house officer, two sub-inspectors, two helper sub-inspectors and 2 head constablesalong with other five employees of these cybercrime police station have yet to be identified.
At a criticism to Nuh Police, Junaid’s family also has declared Faridabad Police had kept him on the night of May 31 and supposedly beat him until he was discharged on June 1.
Junaid, who’d been picked up by Faridabad Police and others at a cybercrime situation, expired June 11.
His family alleged he bore a number of injuries on his own body if he returned home on June 1.
He had been taken to a physician but later his condition deteriorated, the family chose to take him into a hospital at Hodal on June 11.
He expired on the highway, according to the complaint.
Nuh Police, about the criticism of Junaid’s mum, on Sunday registered a case under Indian Penal Code sections 302 (murder), 342 (wrongful confinement) and 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) against station house officer, two sub-inspectors, two helper sub-inspectors and 2 head constables, police said here on Monday.
