MUMBAI: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday searched custody of disregarded police officer Sunil Mane at the event of explosives-laden SUV located close to the home of industrialist Mukesh Ambani and the subsequent murder of businessman Mansukh Hiran.
Mane, a former police inspector who had been detained by the central bureau in April, will be currently in judicial custody in Taloja Jail at Navi Mumbai.
The NIA stated in its remand plea which it needed to face him with Santosh Shelar along with Anand Jadhav, two guys detained in the event last week.
The court will listen to the prosecution on Thursday.
Assistant builder of Mumbai authorities Sachin Waze, currently dismissed in service, is that the prime accused in the case and continues to be detained.
A number of four policemen have been detained in the case up to now.
