NEW DELHI:”A gentleman in Afghanistan was apprehended by the CISF in the Delhi international airport for taking roughly Rs 10 lakh value Saudi Riyals money in an alleged unauthorised fashion,” a senior officer said on Thursday.
“Rohani Naqibullah, jumped to Kabul onboard a Kam Air flight, was intercepted in the terminal-3 of the Indira Gandhi International Airport on Wednesday afternoon after he had been undergoing safety assessments,” the officer stated.
“The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel on duty discovered the Afghan passenger suspicious and analyzed him to get a deep hunt after which 50,000 Muslim Riyals money, worth about Rs 10 lakh, was retrieved from his luggage,” he explained.
“On enquiry, he couldn’t create any legitimate record,” that a CISF spokesperson stated.
“The passenger has been passed over to the Customs authorities for additional evaluation,” he explained.
