GHAZIABAD: A 27-year-old guy was arrested on Thursday for allegedly posing as a Indian Police Service (IPS) officer and displaced people on the pretext of giving them government projects.
Anuj Prakash, a resident of Supertech Livingston at Crossings Republik, includes a diploma in mass communication in the Delhi institute and operated together with a few TV news stations, authorities said.
“In 2016he moved to Vietnam in which he was able to use a recruiting agency.
Near the end of 2018, Anuj returned to India and by the following year, he participate with criminal actions including duping individuals,” a police officer said.
He’d present himself as an IPS officer and was invited to his son’s college as a main guest for its yearly role in 2019.
Authorities said, the faculty’s vice-principal is just one of those sufferers and Anuj took 3.9 lakh in the individual who has a guarantee of work as a public relations officer in a government division.
