NEW DELHI: Union home minister Amit Shah on Saturday condoled the passing of Guruprasad Mohapatra, secretary at the department for marketing of internal and industry transaction (DPIIT), also stated he was a really capable and hardworking officer.
Mohapatra reacted to Covid-19-related complications on Saturday.
“Dr Guruprasad Mohapatra, DPIIT secretary, has been a really capable and hardworking officer.
His premature death is extremely saddening.
My thoughts and prayers are with his bereaved family in this hour of despair.
Om Shanti Shanti,” Shah tweeted.
