AHMEDABAD: India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday declared the southwest monsoon has further progressed into staying sections of Gujarat and coated the whole state together with southern Arabian Sea and a few sections of Rajasthan.

Overall, 16 taluka of this nation received 50mm or more rain a day.
‘Very heavy rain occurred at isolated locations in the areas of Anand, Sabarkantha, Surat, and Dwarka.
