TEL AVIV: The Israeli Ministry of Health reported that a Covid-19 epidemic in 2 colleges in the town of Binyamina, 60 km north of Tel Aviv, that has contaminated 45 pupils.
The epidemic concerns a main school and a middle school, Xinhua news agency quoted the Ministry as saying on Saturday.

According to the Ministry, the origin of the epidemic is connected to a family that recently returned from overseas and also had tested positive for its Delta Covid version.
On June 6, Israel started vaccinating teens aged between 12 and 15 from Covid-19.
Before that, just individuals aged 16 and above were entitled to receive vaccinated.
The amount of individuals vaccinated from Covid-19 in Israel now stands at roughly 5.49 million, or 58.9 percent of its entire population.
Israel has up to now reported 839,829 coronavirus instances.
The death toll from the virus stayed at 6,427, whereas the amount of patients at a critical illness dropped from 23 to 22out of 47 patients now hospitalised.
