THANE:”A 17-year-old boy drowned while his buddy and a teenaged girl missing a lake in Yeoor Hills at Thane in Maharashtra on Mondaya day after two men drowned in exactly the identical water body in separate events,” a civic officer said.
“A set of seven kids from the Samata Nagar place in Thane town had gone for a swim in the Neel river, whose water level had become because of heavy rains lately, this afternoon,” explained Regional Disaster Management Cell (RDMC) main, Thane Municipal Corporation, Santosh Kadam.
“The 2 boysboth aged 17- failed to estimate the thickness of the water and began drowning about 10 am,” he explained.
“Following other kids raised an alert, employees of the fire brigade and also RDMC officials hurried to the area and found a rescue operation,” Kadam told.
He stated,”The entire body of Tejas Chorge was flushed from the lake at 2:30 pm while his buddy Dhruv Kule is not yet been traced.” Based on Kadam, the officers have received an alarm to a teenaged girl from some other group of children drowning in exactly the identical lake on Monday and an investigation is on.
“The RDMC is having an underwater camera for the very first time to follow the lost sufferers,” he further added.
On Sunday, a 16-year-old boy along with 20-year-old guy drowned while swimming at exactly the identical lake in various events.
