CHENNAI: The Greater Chennai Corporation has begun calling folks who missed receiving their next shot because of deficit of Covid19 vaccine.
The GCC said about 85,000 individuals had missed their next dose.
The civic body gathered the record of these individuals zone-wise and began calling them.
Thus far, the GCC vaccinated 30,480 of those 85,000 people.
Presently, there are approximately 59,000 whose next dose is postponed.
Vaccination centers will prioritise the next dose of Covaxin jabs on Wednesday and Thursday (June 23 and 24).
