MUMBAI: As many as 35 people were rescued by the fire brigade after the ceiling of Afsra building at SB Road in Mumbai’s Fort collapsed on Friday.
According to the officials, the incident took place during repair work of building by MHADA.
“Some part of the third floor ceiling collapsed, owing to which the staircase was blocked,” said an official.
No injuries have been reported in the incident.
