NASHIK: The Nashik Rural Police on Sunday raided two private bungalows in Igatpuri, 50km from Nashik and detained 22 persons including 12 women who were allegedly found consuming drugs, liquor and hookah.
The Nashik rural SP, Sachin Patil, told TOI that among the 12 women detained, at least five of them are small-time Bollywood actresses and one woman had taken part in a TV reality show.
There is also a foreign national in that group that was detained.
“We received a tip-off that the group had come from Mumbai and put up in the two bungalows.
They were indulging in illegal activities.
Our police team raided the bungalows early on Sunday and caught them,” added Patil, stating that the police have seized the contraband from the two bungalows which the group members were allegedly consuming.
According to Patil the owner of the bunglows hails from Mumbai.
