Kalyan: All vaccination centers in Kalyan-dombivli will remain closed on Tuesday because of the unavailability of covid vaccines.
This will be the fourth instance of this month when vaccination centers will still be closed in the city of Twin Kalyan-dombiVil.
This is one of the worst affected cities in Maharashtra with 1,36,146 cases of Covid-19 to date.
Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation has so far been carrying out 3,12,965 vaccinations that are less compared to cities such as Thane (4.48,367) and Navi Mumbai (3.95,669).
A senior KDMC official who did not want to be named said that the District Authority distributed the vaccine after getting it from the country gave fewer bottles to kalyan-dombivli but after our follow-up supply continued to increase but because they also did not get enough vaccines from our country could not operate a few days.
