2 Dies from Covid, 35 positive tests

Ludhiana: Two residents of Ludhiana died of Covid-19 and 35 were tested positive on Monday.
The district victim included a 51-year-old man from Talwandi Kalan and a 56-year-old woman at Gill Village.
Dr.
Kiran’s surgeon Ahluwalia said the district victims had increased to 2,083 and outsiders here became 1,038.For dated, 16,94,153 people had been tested.
Patients from outside Ludhiana, too, were tested positive here.
The local health department official said the number of district cases was 86,923 and the outsider here was 11,488.
So far, 84,475 patients have recovered, which constitutes 97.18% of the total cases.
There are 365 active cases.
On Monday, 8,969 samples were collected.
Releven patients are in the ventilator.
From them, five are from Ludhiana.
