Srinagar: Security Forces on Monday Understanding the top Lashkar-e-Taiba commander, Nadeem Abrar, from Parientpora on the outskirts of Srinagar.
Abrar, who was involved in several attacks on security forces and civilians in Kashmir, traveled with other terrorists in the car.
Security forces stopped their vehicles at an examination post near Parimpora and arrested both.
Abrar Mogar during the interrogation and revealed the presence of Pakistani terrorists in Malhora, about 3 km from where he was arrested, police said.
Security forces were immediately closed in the area, which led to the shootout, the police said IG Vijay Kumar.
The official source said three CRPF personnel, including two officers were injured at the meeting.
Abrar involves the murder of three crpf men on March 25 this year at Lawaypora, said IG, added that he had taken a teaching rifle killed.
