Delhi Govt Order De-escalation Covid-19 Beds
Written by news2in

New Delhi: Given the massive decline in the case of Covid-19, the Delhi government has ordered the de-escalation of the number of Covid-19 beds in the hospital and Covid health center.
The number of covid beds has been reduced from 3,000 beds in government hospitals up to 1,620.
There will be zero ICU beds at the Ambedkar Nagar Hospital after de-escalation and no change in ICU beds in Rajiv Gandhi Super Specialty Hospital.
The decision was taken because the government observed that there were 22,200 covid beds empty, while demand for non-covid beds grew.
It has been decided that a private hospital that has a 100 bedding or more sleep capacity can reduce covid beds to 30% of their total sleep capacity or three occupancy on June 16, which is more.
Private hospitals that have a bed capacity of less than 100 beds will have the choice to keep covid beds in their hospitals.
If there is an increase in the number of Covid-19 cases in Delhi, the guards of all private hospitals / nursing homes that provide covid related treatments will soon increase the number of covid beds, order orders.
