New Delhi: The leader of the Rahul Gandhi Congress on Tuesday has denied every meeting scheduled with the Sulking Punjab Leader Navjot Singh Sidhu.
“There is no meeting with Sidhu,” Rahul said when he left his residence at night for 10 Janpath, the residence of the mother and President of Sonia Gandhi.
There was a report on Monday that Sidhu, who was in the Loggersheads with the chairman of the Minister of Punjab captain Amarinder Singh, will meet Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka in the national capital.
Sidhu stopped as a minister of the Punjab cabinet in 2019 after his portfolio was changed.
He has openly targeted Amarinder Singh, many uncomfortable congress flavors.
Rahul Gandhi has met senior leaders and selected representatives from Punjab in an effort to end the dispute in the state unit.
However, Rahul did not meet the captain Amarinder Singh when Punjab CM was in Delhi to meet with the Three-member Congress panel formed to see the crisis in the state unit and suggest corrective steps.
The panel chaired by the opposition leader at Rajya Sabha Malikarjun Kharge and consisting of the Secretary General of AICC Incharge from Punjab Affairs of Harish and Former JP Aggarwal Parliament Member has suggested the construction of the state unit to accommodate all parts.
It sent a report to Congress President Sonia Gandhi.
The panel has asked Amarinder Singh to prepare a roadmap on 18 issues that delay actions in the state of the state, including actions against the land mafia and transportation and against those involved in the teacher of Granth Sahib teachers.
