Ahmedabad: Gujarat has crossed the number of 2.50 crore vaccine doses in the perfect vaccination campaign against the Coronavirus.
Thus, 2.53.93,866 vaccination doses have been given within the state until Tuesday, June 29 2021 to those who qualify for vaccination over the age of 18 years.
Of the total 4,93,20,903 people who qualified in the age group over 18 years in the country, 40 percent, 1,98,62,582 people have been given the first dose to the date and 55 lakh 31 thousand people have been given the second dose.
Thus, 2 crore 53 lakh 93 thousand 866 vaccination doses have been given in Gujarat so far.
In ‘per million vaccinations’, Gujarat has also become a leading country among major countries in the country.
The number of ‘per million vaccinations’ in Gujarat is 3 lakh 97 thousand 572.
It is related to showing here that of a total of 4 93 lakh crore which meets the requirements of people over the age of 18 who will be given two doses of coronavirus vaccine, 2 crore 53 lakh doses Of the 9.86 crore doses, 25 percent of the dosage has been given so far.
Phase-wise vaccination began in Gujarat from January 16.
In the first phase, vaccination is planned for health workers and front lines, in the second phase starting from March 1, Komorbid and elderly communities, in the third phase starting from April 1 starting from April 1, people over 45 years and in the fourth phase, People aged 18 to 44 were vaccinated.
Following the successful implementation of the vaccination campaign of health workers, frontline workers and commorbid individuals, the state government began to provide vaccination to the country youth from May 1 – the day of the Gujarat Foundation.
From May 1, 30,000 doses per day are given in 7 Metro and 3 countries.
The core committee, which is chaired by the Presidential Minister Vijay Kupani, has decided to give 1 dose of lakh every day instead of 30,000 doses in 10 this place for a week from May 24.
Meanwhile, the process of providing a second dose to people who received the first dose in the previous three phases continued.
Minister of Chief Chief Vijay Rupani made an important decision to start a vaccination campaign throughout the state which included urban-rural areas in all countries from June 4 and under this campaign, a broad program of comprehensive youth vaccination was ongoing.
From 3 pm on World Yoga Day – June 21, vaccination operations are being carried out in place in all vaccination centers throughout the state under the registration, depending on the availability of vaccine doses.
As a result of a successful campaign in providing free vaccination to residents carried out by the state government and in just five months since the start of the vaccination campaign in Gujarat, 2 Crore 53 lakh 93 thousand doses have been given to the people.
