Noida: After Rwas contributed to set the insulation ward during the second Covid-19 wave, they now prepared a vaccination camp in the community.
In the past month, the Federation of Noida The Association of Apartment Owners (NOFAA), a general group for all Aoas in Noida, has organized 50 vaccination camps in some communities.
Nofa members said that nearly 15,000 people have been inoculated in these camps which have been held since May 27 in relation to several private hospitals.
“The Highrise Societies has a very dense population, and during its peak in April-May, deaths from Covid are very high.
We realize that the only way out is to develop a herd of flocks as soon as possible.
That’s when we started arranging camps in the community, “said Secretary General Nofa Rajesh Sahay.
He added that the crowd in these centers was the highest during the weekend when people did not work.
While government camps are also being held, residents are willing to come to paid camps to avoid crowds and for their convenience closer to the house.
In most places, the covishield dose was given at Rs 780, while Covaxin’s shot cost 1,200 to Rs 1,400.
Private hospitals that collaborate with Rwas for these camps are Kailash, Felix, Apollo, Max, Fortis and Cloud 9.
Body members of the residents say with the Ministry of Health starting drive vaccination, Noofa will provide free vaccination from July 5.
“We have spoken with the Ministry of Health, and they have assured us that the free vaccination camp will now be organized in society,” Sahay said.
Chapter Noida Medical Association of India (IMA) plans to annoy noofa and six other residents as ‘Covid Warriors’ on the National Doctors Day on Thursday.
Ima will also trap seven practices of Nida’s practice contracting Covid and surrendered to infection in the past year.
