Tuticorin: Tuticorin District Police Special Team on Wednesday arrested three boys aged 16 and 17 years for theft and robbery inside and around Tuticorin.
According to the police, a special team saw three teenagers trying to steal cash from the K grocery store, 48, at Anna Nagar in the city.
The children were arrested with red hands with iron stems and hammer which with him they tried to unlock and get into the store.
Trio was taken to the South Police Station Thoothukudi.
During the investigation, the police knew that two boys had been involved in at least 11 other cases.
The children were ordered and submitted at home for children contrary to the law.
Police supervisors for Tuticorin District Jayakumar appreciate the special team for their careful efforts in raising serial juvenile perpetrators.
