Hyderabad: Telangana on Thursday recorded 869 new Covid-19 cases, took the calculation to 6.24,379, while the victim rose to 3,669 with eight other deaths.
The number of recovery exceeds the number of new cases on Thursday with 1,197 people recovering from infectious diseases, pushing the total recovery to 6.07.658.
The active case reached 13,052, said Bulletin.
It was said that 1,05,123 samples were tested on Thursday and the total number of samples tested until the date was 1,87.77,030.
The sample tested per million population was 5.04,487.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) contributed most cases with 101 followed by Nalgonda (72) and Rangiteddy Regency (65), said a state government bulletin, provided details at 5:30 p.m.
on Thursday.
The case fatality and recovery rate are 0.58% and 97.32% respectively.
