Spartanburg: Two public workers who repair the sewer in South Carolina were shot by a man who also opened fire on Thursday’s representatives, the authorities said.
The man walked to the workers near Cleveland Park in Spartanburg around 3pm, asking them what they did, then began to shoot, Spartanburg Water spokesman Jennifer Candler to the news outlet.
Candler does not release information about the condition of workers.
A representative of County Spartanburg was also shot by the man, but Sheriff Chuck Wright told the news outlet that the clerk was fine.
He does not provide other details about shooting or whether they have a suspect.
Local TV coverage showed dozens of police vehicles in the neighborhood near the park on Thursday afternoon.
