Coimbatore: Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) has been decided as the best performing university under the mission for the development of an integrated horticulture program carried out by the Directorate of Arecanut and Spices, Kozhikode.
The statement from TNAu said the Indian-Mission government for the development of Integrated Horticulture (Goi-Midh) in the production of seed materials & planting and distribution and technology transfer in spices is being carried out in horticulture colleges and research institutions, periakulam.
In this scheme, the production of planting materials for black pepper, ginger, and cinnamon is taken at 16 centers.
At Goi-Midh’s annual review meeting, TNAU was decided as the best performing university between 45 centers.
