New Delhi: Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has released notifications about opt-out facilities which are how candidates take advantage of the opt-out option from the exam due to Covid-19 pandemic.
ICAI has mentioned several important points in the notification, which is available online at the official website of Institute I.e., Icai.org.
In notification, there are several conditions mentioned to utilize opt-out facilities.
Here we mention this condition briefly, however, for the details of candidates it is recommended to read official notifications given at the end of this article

1) Candidates, who suffer from Covid-19 in passing I.E recently, on or after April 15, 2021.
Such candidates can choose opt-out options as long as they need to produce a RPCR report.
The RTPCR report will not be needed if they have a medical certificate issued by registered medical practitioners for themselves or family members served together with the election.
2) Candidates, those affected by locking during the examination period, can take advantage of opt-out options from July examination and can appear in November 2021 examination, if the situation is conducive to conducive checks.
3) a candidate can also choose out of the examination, if he is diagnosed with Covid-19 in the middle of the examination.
4) If a candidate has chosen out in any paper during the entire cycle of inspection, then he will not be allowed to appear and one of the remaining paper.
5) If the exam has appeared for the first group and he chooses before the conclusion of the examination of the last second group paper, the results of the first group will be stated and selected the option that will only apply to the second group.
6) If the CA exam cannot be held at the inspection center because the restrictions imposed by the government in this case the exam is entitled to the option of opt-out and July 2021 will not be treated as an effort for them.
Candidates can appear in the next exam cycle i.e., November 2021, subject to a conducive situation / environment that applies at the relevant time.
